RF IDeas
RF IDeas is the innovator of WaveID, the new standard for door access card-based authentication and identification solutions powered by RF IDeas readers for non-door applications. RF IDeas manufactures a complete line of pcProx card readers that support almost every proximity and contactless smart card in use worldwide. RF IDeas readers are offered in several form factors and deployed in various OEM solutions such as attendance management, multi-function printers, mobile, physical access, manufacturing, dispensing, kiosks, point-of-sale and computer logon. Other than pcProx readers, RF IDeas provide magnetic stripe card readers, wiegand converters, and software developer kits as well.
Readers
RF IDeas deliver readers that are compatible with windows operating systems. RF IDeas reader allows users to use their building access card or any 125kHz or 13.56 MHz tags and/or labels for other forms of identification. The plug-n-play reader equipped with flash memory, allowing the user to quickly configure the output to meet their needs. The readers can be used as a standalone system, or can be seamlessly integrated with other software applications using the optional software developer’s kit (SDK). As an integrated reader, it is deployed in multiple applications including card enrollment, visitor management, POS, time attendance and user authorization. Some of these RF IDeas have bluetooth enabled. Moreover, RF IDeas offers swipe readers that are compatible with billions of magnetic stripe cards in circulation worldwide.
Analyzers
The pcProx 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz Card Analyzer line of products are intelligent portable tools for the determination of proximity and contactless smart cards. The Card Analyzers identify the card technology and determine the compatible RF IDeas reader. These card analyzers help users, solutions providers and hardware/software integrators rapidly and accurately determine what card technology is in use at that moment. They report the right RFIDeas reader part number, card size and ID in hexadecimal system. Similar to RF IDeas’ pcProx Enroll readers, the card analyzers support more than 30 different card types and hundreds of millions of cards in use worldwide. The card analyzers check across all known cards supported and send the results as keystrokes to a text editor, such as, Microsoft Notepad. No software is required. The analyzer is compatible with most computer operating systems that support USB keyboards running Windows CE, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Linux and Macintosh.
Presence Detectors
Presence Detectors from RF IDeas are designed for customers seeking to protect and secure private information from intrusion of unattended or unlocked computers. Without the need of additional software or user action, pcProx Presence Detectors solve security risks and privacy concerns with unattended computers, workstations, and other sensitive equipment. They support any system including Windows CE, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Macintosh as long as they have USB support.
Converters
The wiegand converter integrates all standard wiegand-based reader technologies to other applications. The Converter has multiple uses. wiegand card data converter translates all major outputs to USB, RS-232, RS-485 or TTL.
Software development kits
RF IDeas provide software development kits that allow programmers to develop and enable their applications to read access badge identification information directly off any of the more than 300 million proximity and contactless cards and over 1 billion magnetic swipe cards in use today. They are deployed in several applications including security, identification, asset tracking, equipment access and human resource kiosks.
Accessories
RF IDeas offers various accessories including mounting bracket, power supplies and adapters for all proximity and contactless smart card readers and products.
